Erwin Marine Sales has been active in the pre-owned Brokerage segment of the marine industry for a number of years. We maintain a large inventory of brokerage boats offering services to both the seller and the buyer. We have tracked the time from listing to sale and the selling price as a percent of the listing price over the last several years. On average, we are selling a listing in 94 days for 90% of the listing price. Brokerage listings are marketed right along-side company owned trade-in inventory utilizing regional and national media. Additionally, we are members of several national Broker groups such as BUC and Yachtworld that effectively provide multi listing of the seller’s boat. Our successful experience in the Brokerage business provides us the resources to advise the seller on how to best prepare his/her boat for sale and how to price it. We can also assist the seller in locating wet or dry storage for the listing that would be near our sales locations, which often has the net effect of accelerating the sale. First and foremost, being a factory authorized dealer for Sea Ray Boats and Carver Yachts, we have access to pre-owned late model inventory all over the U.S. and even the world if that applies. If the buyer desires something other than a Sea Ray or Carver, we have a resource of knowledge on other brands as well. Erwin Marine Sales’ experience in the marketplace and relationships with other Brokers puts us in the enviable position to be able to address all the search and purchase needs of a Brokerage buyer. Brokerage Managers work with personnel at all our sales locations to assure the buyer and seller of proper treatment in his/her search for the desired boat. We can help the buyer find the desired boat, assist in the buyer's sea trial of the boat, provide the buyer a list of surveyors to choose from and then assist in the purchase including the arrangements of financing and insurance. Erwin Marine Sales holds a Florida Yacht Broker’s license, so if your purchase is handled through a Florida Broker, we are fully licensed for your protection and you are able to deal with local sales people in the Florida marketplace.
