Locking Class

Join us on April 11th at 9:00 a.m. for our Locking Class, designed to help boaters feel confident navigating one of the most important parts of the Tennessee River system.

“Locking” refers to the process of safely passing your boat through a lock—raising or lowering you between different water levels. It’s a routine part of boating on rivers like the Tennessee, but for many, it can feel intimidating the first time. That’s exactly why we offer this class.

We’ll begin the morning in our showroom with a quick overview of how locks work, proper etiquette, and what to expect. Then, we’ll head out on the water together aboard our boats, where our team will walk you through the process step-by-step and demonstrate exactly how to navigate a lock safely and confidently.

Coffee and donuts will be provided to start the morning. Space is limited, and if you’ve attended this class before, we kindly ask that you allow others the opportunity to participate.
