That’s why we’re partnering with Alabama Marine Patrol’s Trooper Mayo to bring a Boating Safety Class to our Guntersville location on March 8th at 12:00 p.m. \nWhere: Erwin Marine Sales – Guntersville\nAddress: 28601 US-431\, Grant\, AL 35747\nWhen: Saturday\, March 8th at 12:00 p.m. \nThis is a great opportunity for both new and experienced boaters to brush up on essential safety tips\, Alabama boating laws\, and best practices to keep you\, your passengers\, and fellow boaters safe on the water. \nWhat You’ll Learn:\n✔️ Alabama boating laws and regulations\n✔️ Safe navigation and right-of-way rules\n✔️ Life jacket and safety gear requirements\n✔️ Common boating hazards and how to avoid them\n✔️ Tips for handling emergency situations \nThe class is completely free\, and we highly encourage everyone to attend—especially if you plan to get on the water this season! \nImportant Note for Attendees Under 18:\nIf you are under the age of 18\, you will need to attend this class in order to obtain the “V” (vessel) designation on your license\, which is required by the state of Alabama to operate a vessel on the water. \nWhy Take a Boating Safety Class?\nUnderstanding the rules of the water is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring everyone has an enjoyable\, safe time out on the lake.
